ACE dance and music’s African Village Project: The Golden Stool

Creative Futures 2010 // supported by Birmingham City Council.

In the spring/summer term 2010, ACE dance and music worked with eight nursery settings to deliver a unique learning experience, where the Ghanaian legend of The Golden Stool was told through a live tapestry of theatre, music, dance and visual arts. The children aged between 3 and 5 took on the role of brave Ashanti warriors and travelled through African forests, villages and kingdoms on their quest to find The Golden Stool. Visit the education page on theACE website for more information about the African Village Project

If you want to take part then get in touch! Call or email Charlotte Gregory (Administrator) or Debbie Poulton (Education Manager) on 0121 314 5830 // info@acedanceandmusic.com to discuss the details.
